Built 1898 for Metropolitan at Neasden Works. Designed by T F Clark.
1933 taken into London Transport ownership , repainted in LT livery and renumbered L44 in 1936
Withdrawn from service in 1963 and after being restored in 2011 ran the first steam passenger service since 1905 on the “Metropolitan Line” in 2013 (150th anniv of London Underground)
