Fell over side of HMAS MELBOURNE when ship suddenly rolled 20 degrees to starboard in heavy seas.
Aircraft was being repositioned at time, broke free of towing tractor and lashing chains. Maintenance sailor in cockpit (AB E. Kann) suffered lacerations but managed to get clear. Thrown lifebuoy and joined in water by diver. Both picked up by HMAS HOBART (DDG 39).
