Former Southern Railway Class U 31625 is pictured in 'Thomas the Tank Engine' guise as Number 5,James, on Ropley Shed, at the Mid-Hants Railway, on April 5th 2002.
Withdrawn from BR service and then rescued for preservation from Barry scrap yard in 1980. In 1997 passed the mainline test and is now at Swanage.
