In 2006 Westtoer were paid 100,000 euro to restore the VIRTUS, Z533 a former shrimp trawler as a tribute to the fishermen lost at sea. However, in 2009 city of Bruges decided there were two options - to implement further restoration at a cost of 60,000 euro or to abandon the project and waste 150,000 euro already spent.
