Plaque describing the events at yet another massacre of British POW at Le Paradis, Northern France. The French history of this site records that a Sergeant Major approached the Germans with a white towel to surrender after having repulsed 3 German attacks, then running out of ammunition. The Sergeant Major and his party of 6 were gunned down.
